DEWI GmbH and SSC Montage GmbH sign cooperation agreement

Wilhelmshaven/Wildeshausen – DEWI GmbH and SSC Montage GmbH have signed a cooperation agreement for the services Technical Due Diligence and Consulting and will work together above all in the wind energy markets of Germany, Turkey and Italy as well as in Eastern Europe.

„Especially on the currently fast growing market of Turkey there are already numerous synergy effects, where the technical Know-how of DEWI and the services offered by SSC in the fields of assembly and planning of wind turbines complement each other perfectly“, Hinrich Eden (Managing Director of SSC Montage GmbH) sums up.

Peter Spengemann (Head of Due Diligence of DEWI GmbH) is also looking forward to the cooperation with SSC Montage „because in addition to the elements of technical project verification / Due Diligence already offered by DEWI, now also the elements of assembly supervision and inspection can be offered from one source“ .

SSC Montage GmbH is a service company with 80 employees that has been involved in wind energy for 9 years. The SSC Montage GmbH service offer includes the setting up of off-shore and on-shore wind energy plants throughout Europe. Thus, SSC is at present involved in numerous multi-megawatt projects, for example in Romania and Italy, and is also involved in site management and planning. SSC works with internationally recognised quality and safety standards, and secures these with regular SCC certification. In the last few years, SSC has been involved in several off-shore projects in Belgium (Thornton Bank) and Germany (Alpha Ventus, FinoII) and has thereby gained experience in planning, preparing and installing off-shore wind energy plants classified as 5 megawatt.
