DEWI-OCC GmbH: Change in Management

There has been a change in management at DEWI-OCC. The shareholder meeting on 23. April 2012 decided unanimously to appoint Mr Hergen Bolte as successor of Managing Director Jürgen Kröning with effect from 1 May 2012. This change in management had become necessary because Mr Kröning had asked for an early termination of his contract for personal reasons.

With Mr Bolte a successor was found from within the company who fulfills the prerequisites for a successful continuation of the positive development DEWI-OCC has taken in the past years. Previously responsible for the commercial area of the company, and with experience in the wind energy sector from earlier employments, he knows all the steps required in the certification of wind turbines and also has the necessary customer contacts. With Hergen Bolte as the new Managing Director, DEWI OCC plans to not only increase the company’s activities but also extend them to customers in other countries and therefore also create more jobs at DEWI-OCC in Cuxhaven.

The previous Managing Director Mr Kröning is leaving the company on 30th April at his own request. The shareholders, DEWI GmbH along with the city and district of Cuxhaven, very much regret his decision to leave prematurely, because since the foundation of DEWI-OCC in 2003 he has led the company very successfully, establishing it as a both nationally and internationally recognised certification body of wind turbines and wind farms. For this achievement the shareholders expressed to him their sincere thanks in their meeting.
