One part of the service portfolio is the wind turbine inspection for operators, investors at different stages of a project’s life cycle, in particular on commissioning machines or at the end of the guarantee period. Within this framework, we are looking for a Technician (m/f) for wind turbine inspection based at our subsidiary DEWI France, Lyon (69).

Your responsibilities:

• Inspecting wind turbines
  notably assessing and testing a turbine’s main elements, checking mechanical and electrical parts, checking wind farm compliance and safety issues
• Drawing up inspection reports in English
• Contributing to improve tools and methods, developing operations

Your profile:

• French BTS or DUT degree in industrial or electro technical maintenance (or equivalent)
• Initial experience in industrial and corrective maintenance of wind farms is required
• Preferably, certificates for Medium & High voltage work and work at heights
• Strong commitment to the notion of safety in general as well as health and safety at work
• Ability to work independently and effectively as well as being an excellent team player
• Pleasant manners and good communication skills in dealing with clients
• Ability to speak and write English (incl. technical English) fluently, other languages are an advantage
• Willingness to travel in France and abroad
• Driver’s licence
