  The official document of 25 October 2008 was published as read-only version in the Federal Law Gazette (Bundesanzeiger) 2008 I No. 49 issued at Bonn on 31 October 2008, p. 2074.
  The new Renewable Energy Sources Act, which entered into force on 1 January 2009, replaces the previous act of 2004.
