Wind Energy Use in Germany

As of 30.06.2003 14,283 wind turbines (WTs) with a rated power of 12,828 MW were installed in Germany. The average installed power per WT therefore is 898.14 kW. In the first half of 2003 alone, 536 WTs with a rated power of 835.38 MW were erected in Germany.
