Wind Energy Use in Germany

As of 30.09.2003 14,647 wind turbines (WTs) with a rated power of 13,404 MW were installed in Germany. In the third quarter of 2003 alone, 906 WTs with a rated power of 1,414 MW were erected in Germany.
